How to draw an Xbox controller. Video games started as a rather specialized hobby for computer enthusiasts, but in recent years they have grown into one of the biggest entertainment industries in the world. There are games for everyone, and there are plenty of game consoles to choose from that you can use to play those games.
One of the most famous lines is the Xbox series of consoles, and they have one of the best-designed controllers on the market. Playing video games is fun, but learning how to draw an Xbox controller is a great way to merge hobby and art! If you are looking for some cute drawings, drawing for kids, cartoons drawing, animals drawing and many more, then you are at the right place.
Drawing Xbox controller
Step 1:
The Xbox controller was designed to sit comfortably in your hands for long gaming sessions. It is mainly due to its shape, and we will draw this outline in this first step of our guide to drawing an Xbox controller. The controller has two parts that drop down on either side for your palms to rest on, and you can draw them with rounded lines.
So there will be a relatively flat line with a slight curve between these two rounded sections. The sides and top of the controller will also have a very slight curve, so do your best to copy the lines as they appear in our reference image. Finally, draw two flat-angled shapes on either side of the top of the controller for the controller trigger buttons.
Step 2:
Without switches, a tape play switch would be rather vain. In this second step, we will add some buttons to the drawing of your Xbox controller. First, draw a circle on the top left of the controller, then draw another circle inside it. It will form the first analog stick on the controller. Then count another less process to the request of the post. This circle won’t have any details yet, but we’ll add them later.
Finally, we’ll draw another circle at the top center of the controller. This button is used to access the console home screen and has an X to match the Xbox theme. You can draw this X using curved lines. These lines are placed quite precisely, so check out our sample image.
Step 3:
We will add more buttons and details in this step of our guide on how to draw an Xbox controller. First, draw another larger circle near the lower left side of the controller. You can then draw two vertical and two horizontal lines inside this circle. It will create the controller d-pad.
Next, draw some small square shapes inside the tiny button you drew earlier. You can then draw another equally small circle next to it and three horizontal lines inside it. Finally, finish with a flat oval shape under these two buttons.
Step 4:
This step and the next will be to add the final buttons and features to your Xbox controller design. For now, draw four more buttons on the top right of the controller. These buttons have colored letters, so if you are going to color your drawing, you can leave these buttons alone for now, as we will add the letters in the coloring step. Alternatively, you can draw a Y at the top, a B at the right, an X at the left, and an A at the bottom.
Step 5:
You’re glad to count the last controls and pieces in this stage of our focus on how to remove an Xbox switch. First, draw another analog stick by drawing another circle in a circle at the bottom right of the controller.
You can then finish by drawing some details inside the flat oval button you drew near the center of the controller. Before proceeding to the following step, you can add to this image by drawing your details. Maybe you could draw a background that shows a TV screen showing your favorite video game!
Step 6:
We are going to close this drawing of the Xbox controller by adding color to it. Xbox controllers come in a light gray or black base color, and we chose the gray option for our example. Some custom controllers and skins also allow other colors and patterns, so you can use any color you like to color this one!
You can also use paints to remove the messages inside the switches on the request. These will be yellow for the top, red for the right, green for the bottom, and blue for the left. How will you color your image?
